Bachelor of Science in Music (Music Producer)

McNally Smith’s first Bachelor of Science degree program is designed to prepare students for the rigorous demands of becoming a music producer.  In today’s climate, the best music producers are well-rounded professionals who are proficient in musicianship, business, technology and general education.  In addition to study in each of these areas, all degree candidates will oversee an album recording project from start to finish, graduating with real-life experience as a music producer.

This is an expansive music performance degree program built by professional musicians for talented students who are ready for a rigorous curriculum emphasizing refinement of aural skills, music theory, technique, interpretation and ensemble work. A wide variety of performance opportunities are available. Consistent attention is given to personal creative development.

Bachelor of Arts in Music (Music Business)

The flexibility and depth of a Bachelor of Arts program has an additional practical focus on music business. Experienced faculty guide students to develop successful professional leadership skills for the global entertainment industry, with wide-ranging, intensive study of copyright and contract law, artist management, promotion, music publishing, and small business development. A variety of internships and unique collaborative experiences are available.
