McNally Smith Residence Hall

Come live with your fellow McNally Smith College of Music students!

We are excited that you are considering making the McNally Smith Residence Hall your home. Where you live is one of the most important decisions you will make as a student. McNally Smith Housing and Residence Life has everything you need and more!

Each Residence Hall apartment has a kitchen and private bathroom. The kitchens are complete with either a stove and oven, or microwave and 2-burner cook top. Our floor plans accommodate between 1–4 roommates per unit, although single occupancy rooms are limited.

The Residence Hall offers students both hard-wired and wireless Internet access, a common television and relaxation lounge, quiet study lounges, and practice rooms. A High Definition DirecTV Satellite package is also available for students to purchase at a deeply discounted rate of $150 per semester (cost can be divided among roommates).

Community Advisors (our live-in student staff) are available on each floor and organize events for our residents throughout the year. They are on duty throughout the evening and overnight hours, as well as weekends, to assist residents as needed. A professional staff member is always on call and can be reached by Community Advisors when necessary.

Students living in the Residence Hall must purchase a meal plan of their choosing for use in the Sound Bite Café. There are several meal plan options and students can add to their meal plan at any time.

The Residence Hall is located on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors of the historic Lowry building in Downtown St. Paul. The Residence Hall is within two blocks of 10-plus bus routes and is five blocks from campus. Students can walk almost the full distance in the skyway system if they wish.

Building Address:

345 Wabasha Street North
St. Paul, MN 55102
