Parent & Family Orientation

We offer an optional Parent Orientation on Day 1 of the Fall New Student Orientation (Wednesday, August 30 – 9:00am–12:30pm). Parents can arrive with their students and they can sit together for the first presentation of the day. When the students leave to do their programming, parents have the opportunity to get a glimpse of some of the topics their students will be learning. There is also a very informative presentation by Scott LeGere, Music Business Department Head.

We ask that parents please email studentaffairs@mcnallysmith.edu to RSVP your planned attendance at the Parent Orientation. Please let us know your name(s), how many will be in attendance (so we can prepare materials & box lunches), and give us your student’s name. We appreciate it!

Parking

Metered on-street parking is available around the school at a rate of $1-$2 per hour, depending on where you park. There are also two parking ramps each within a block of the main 19 Exchange St. building:  7A Municipal Ramp at 13 W. Exchange St. and World Trade Center Ramp, 477 Cedar St.

On behalf of the Office of Student Affairs and the rest of the College, we are looking forward to connecting with you at the Parent & Family Orientation!
