Meet your Peer Advisers
Pat Dougherty
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Pat Dougherty is a walking music business utility closet. He started Keep In Touch records at the age of 16. He produced three records before the age of 20 (one of which is available on iTunes). He has had his hand in being a booking agent, manager, local sound tech, and radio show host. He’s a composer and performer who plays nearly 17 different instruments. A self admitted music nerd, Pat is enrolled at McNally Smith as a Music Business major.
Elizabeth Jarding
Minnesota born Liz Jarding, is a Vocal Performance Major at McNally Smith. If not singing on a stage, in the car, or in the shower, she finds joy in a multitude of things. Such as: going on walks, hanging out with friends, getting tattoos and piercings (the fam totally loves that one), going to shows, roadtrips, swimming, exploring, laying in the sun, photography, camping, talking, and most of all...LAUGHING. If she has been known for any other thing besides music, it has been her passion for laughter, being happy, and having fun. Having lived her whole life with just her mother, Liz was raised with an eclectic taste in music. Just to name a few: Crash Test Dummies, Seal, Matt Bianco, Bonnie Raitt, R.E.M., B-52's, Annie Lennox, Alanis Morissette, Melissa Etheridge. But as she grew up, she began to create her own taste as well. John Mayer, Coldplay, The Dave Matthews Band, Adele, Daughtry, Big & Rich, Damien Rice, TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Lyndard Skynard, Joni Mitchell, Counting Crows all are commonly found playing on her iPod. One day she herself hopes to perform for audiences all over the world.
