STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Plug in and get involved!

Whether you’re looking for organizations that support your music goals, such as Audio Engineering Society, Music Business Club, or the Hip Hop Organization (H2O), or want to play in a basketball league, McNally Smith College of Music has something for you.

A group of five or more McNally Smith College of Music students with a common interest or goal defines a student organization. Music college students have the opportunity to not only participate in  already existing groups, but also to create new ones that will continue to provide opportunities in our dynamic and changing music school.

How to start a new organization:

  • Determine the focus of your group.
  • Find a willing and able  faculty or staff member to act as Advisor.
  • Format a specific, but brief, Statement Of Intent that explains the student organization’s focus and goals.
  • Complete an Application for Student Organization Recognition, available in the Student Services office.
