An education in contemporary music today means much more than becoming an excellent performer. Music students at McNally Smith are encouraged to take courses in all divisions of the college: Music Performance, Music Business, Music Technology, and Liberal Arts.
By taking advantage of a curriculum that is open to the growing, changing face of contemporary music, McNally Smith students become empowered to make a life in music in ways that graduates in the past could never have imagined. In addition to the above divisions, students can take courses in Composition & Songwriting, Hip-Hop Studies, or spend time abroad with International Studies.
