The McNally Smith Live Sound diploma program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities in live sound reinforcement and performance.
By combining lecture and hands-on lab training, students learn to mix sound for live concerts, operate lighting and PA systems, and maintain audio equipment for a variety of club, theater, and stage venues. Students also learn the business fundamentals of tour management and promotions.
Our facilities include a Midas Legend 3000 touring console, a 20,000 watt ElectroVoice sound system, and an ETC lighting system. The campus features three venues in which students learn and practice their live sound skills.
