In preparation for a career as a Recording Engineer or Music Producer, music technology students work with industry professionals in McNally Smith’s advanced studio complex. We teach the concepts, skills, and techniques that will serve you for a lifetime of creating and producing great music.  You’ll start in our analog labs.  From there you’ll progress to analog/digital studios to fully digital studios – where students get experience in 5.1 surround sound using the state of the art Digidesign Icon worksurface, and take their base skills to blockbuster potential.
