Diploma: Hip-Hop Studies

The Hip-Hop Studies diploma program is specially designed to develop your musical talents and equip you with the business and technology skills essential for establishing a career in the music industry. The cross-departmental curriculum focuses on the fundamentals of hip-hop composition, production, and performance, with a special emphasis on entrepreneurship. This short-term program can be completed in as little as 12 months and is designed for aspiring music professionals who:

  • Want to gain a broad skill-set to help establish or advance their career
  • Have some previous work experience, OR
  • Previously completed a degree in a field other than music

By completing a diploma in Hip-Hop Studies, you’ll also be prepared to continue your studies in pursuit of an A.A.S. or bachelor’s degree.
