This ensemble focuses on the past 40 years of heavy metal music, starting with Black Sabbath in 1970 up to modern day bands such as All That Remains. The band will consist of up to three guitarists, bass, drums, keyboards, and up to two vocalists. Although some charts may be made available, resourcefulness and the ability to play by ear are very important. Guitarists and keyboardists must be able to play written and recorded solos, drummers need to have good double kick drum technique, and vocalists will not be expected to “scream.”
