McNally Smith College of Music will host its Spring Open House on Saturday, February 4, 2012. The Open House gives prospective and current students, parents, and other visitors a chance to visit the school and meet with faculty, staff, and students. Featuring events taking place on- and off-campus, this year’s Open House offers everyone a piece of the McNally Smith student experience.

Open House Schedule:

Events begin at 10:00 a.m. and are held on the McNally Smith campus at 19 Exchange Street E. in downtown St. Paul.

10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

• Studio complex demonstrations in the McKern Complex
• Departments represented in 2nd floor classrooms
• Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing, Career Services, and Student Affairs represented in 1st floor atrium
• Auditions: Contact your Admissions representative to schedule a time (651.361.3460)
• Refreshments and performances in 3rd floor Sound Bite Café
• Residence hall and campus tours

Auditorium

• 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Presentations by Division Chairs, Student Affairs, Career Services, Financial Aid, and Residence Life
• 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Faculty/student performance

• 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Hip-Hop/Composition performance
• 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: Hip-Hop demonstration
• 12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.: Songwriting & Composition demonstration

Classroom Demonstration
