December 1, 2007 is World Aids Day. McNally Smith College of Music will perform from 12:00-4:00PM at the Rotunda in the Mall of America to bring attention to the ongoing fight to stop HIV.
There will be four segments. The first segment will consist of traditional Christmas classics, performed by current students, McNally’s Registrar, and Co-Founder. The second set will be a performance of songs from “The Gift of Hope”-McNally’s 2007 holiday cd, performed by some of the schools most outstanding students and alumni. The last two sets will be performances by faculty and student ensembles.
The Gift of Hope will be available for sale during the show. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Minnesota AIDS project to help fight HIV and promotes AIDS awareness.
