McNally Smith College of Music is pleased to announce the line-up for its bigger and better late summer outdoor entertainment event: McNally Smith River Rocks Music Festival.
McNally Smith River Rocks Music Festival will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 4:30 – 11 p.m. and Saturday, September 20 from 1 – 11 p.m. on St. Paul’s Harriet Island.
Artists scheduled to perform on Friday include: White Iron Band, Ozomatli, Jakob Dylan, and O.A.R.
Saturday’s line-up will feature: The Alarmists, Heiruspecs, The Roots, Mike Doughty, Live and Semosonic.
Entertainment will also be provided both days by students, alumni and faculty from the McNally Smith College of Music.
Fifty percent of the net proceeds from the event will benefit the McNally Smith College of Music Foundation, which is committed to promoting the creation of and access to contemporary music throughout the community.
