McNally Smith Music Business Chair and award-winning jazz musician Steve Cole takes the stage on campus for the last performance in our Live at Five faculty concert series.

About Steve Cole
Saxophonist Steve Cole is one of the most celebrated players in contemporary jazz, having sold hundreds of thousands of albums worldwide and scored five #1 R&R Smooth Jazz hits. His most recent album “Moonlight” was incredibility well received in the music industry, so much in fact his track “Undun” reached #6 on the Billboard Jazz Chart early last year. Cole joined McNally Smith College of Music in the fall of 2009, as a faculty member in the school’s popular Music Business Division, which prepares musicians and non-musicians alike to work in the music industry at a number of levels through an interdisciplinary approach to higher music education. Since then, he has been named head of the department, while continuing to tour and record.
