McNally Smith College of Music will be showing off some its top ensembles during its 2012 Emerging Artist Series. The Artists’ Quarter, listed by DownBeat Magazine as one of “100 Great Jazz Clubs” in the world, and Minnesota Music Café, a legendary St. Paul institution, are but a couple gracious hosts for these fantastic, open to the public events.
The McNally Smith community is encouraged to come out in force. Not only is it a show of support for McNally Smith students and a chance to hear some great music, but it also encourages Twin Cities music clubs to continue booking McNally Smith acts throughout the year. These shows are all ages, and there is no cover charge.
