Hot on the heels of yet another successful Twin Cities Saxophone Day, McNally Smith College of Music and MacPhail Center For Music are teaming up to present Twin Cities Brass Day 2012, taking place on Saturday, November 3 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at the McNally Smith Auditorium and the History Theatre.
Highlights include a number of clinics and presentations by guest artists—including a Jazz and Classical Trumpet masterclass led by virtuoso trumpet player Rex Richardson and a Low Brass masterclass with Steve Campbell (principal tuba with the Minnesota Orchestra). Vendors will also be on hand, displaying new and vintage instruments, mouthpieces and accessories in the atrium for brass enthusiasts check out and play.
