McNally Smith’s Speakeasy Returns This Friday
w/ DJ Jeff Kamin of MPR/Books & Bars

Rolling into the thick of Rock-tober is the third installment of the Speakeasy Series — a fun, free hang at McNally Smith’s Soundbite Café focused on bringing the Twin Cities arts community together for killer tunes, casual mingling and complimentary coffee, wine and snacks. The fun kicks off at 4 p.m. this Friday, October 12th, with a little help from guest DJ Jeff Kamin. By day, Kamin helps keep your favorite radio stations filled with shows as a producer on Minnesota Public Radio. By night, he holds court in some of the Twin Cities’ finest drinking establishments as the creator/host of the world’s greatest book club, Books & Bars. Music fans of all genres are sure to enjoy Jeff’s discerning picks.

More about the MSCM Speakeasy Series:

McNally Smith College of Music is opening its doors and inviting the public to its gorgeous downtown St. Paul campus to take part in the brand new Speakeasy Series—four casual gatherings geared towards bringing the Twin Cities arts community a little bit closer together. Held on a Friday afternoon during each of the next four months, the Speakeasy Series boasts an eclectic mix of guest DJs from the Twin Cities arts community. In addition to impeccable playlists from these fantastic guests, Speakeasy attendees will be treated to complimentary coffee and wine in a laid back and hip environment. So grab a friend and come down, unwind and spend some quality time with your creative-minded neighbors at the end of the workweek. Each Speakeasy takes place from 4-6PM on a Friday in McNally Smith’s own Soundbite Café, located on the third floor of the main campus building.
