Final 2012 Speakeasy Gathering Featuring
Guest DJ Chris Campbell of Innova Recordings

All good things must end, and with McNally Smith’s fall semester rapidly coming to a close, the inaugural run of the Speakeasy Series aims to go out with a bang. Don’t miss out—get to the Soundbite Café between 4 and 6 tomorrow, Friday, November 16th, for casual mingling amongst the Twin Cities arts community, complimentary wine and snacks, and some truly killer music.

For the fourth and final Speakeasy installment of 2012, McNally Smith has tapped the ultra talented Chris Campbell—composer and the Operations Manager at Innova Recordings—to provide his sonic expertise as guest DJ. Campbell’s talent has helped make Innova a go-to spot for cutting edge creative music, and in addition to spinning some of his favorite tunes, he’s actually composed some original music specifically for the Speakeasy! More about the MSCM Speakeasy Series:

McNally Smith College of Music is opening its doors and inviting the public to its gorgeous downtown St. Paul campus to take part in the brand new Speakeasy Series—four casual gatherings geared towards bringing the Twin Cities arts community a little bit closer together. Held on a Friday afternoon during each of the next four months, the Speakeasy Series boasts an eclectic mix of guest DJs from the Twin Cities arts community. In addition to impeccable playlists from these fantastic guests, Speakeasy attendees will be treated to complimentary coffee and wine in a laid back and hip environment. So grab a friend and come down, unwind and spend some quality time with your creative-minded neighbors at the end of the workweek. Each Speakeasy takes place from 4-6PM on a Friday in McNally Smith’s own Soundbite Café, located on the third floor of the main campus building.
