Four Story Drop is auditioning vocalists. If you are a professional level vocalist, looking to have fun with a professional, part time, high energy, danceable modern rock cover band, drop us a line. You can find out more about us, including a list of songs we play and live recordings from a recent show at www.myspace.com/fourstorydrop <file://www.myspace.com/fourstorydrop> .

We play a wide variety of covers - mainly modern rock (originals are OK in the future as well). We're agent backed, have private practice space with PA, practice one night a week, and play on average 2 - 3 times a month in the circuit around the metro (sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less).

We do this for fun (we all have day jobs, families, etc.) however we're very serious about how we sound (polished, tight and powerful sound with vocal harmonies, etc). We are all pro level musicians with professional, well maintained gear.

A couple of us will have a couple beers at practice and when we play, but do not get smashed at either…..and expect the same. If you're a hack, druggie, or an ego/headcase don't bother to apply.

We're looking for a genuine front person - an excellent powerful vocalist that can sing, with excellent pitch, tone, and dynamics, stage presence, the ability to interact with crowds, and an interest in having fun with a great band!!! If you can play bass, that's a bonus (our bassist plays keys on a few songs so our last vocalist would play bass on a couple tunes).

The Paul Green School of Rock is looking for guitar teachers and subs at our St. Paul and Eden Prairie locations.
We are currently interviewing for Guitar instructors.

Here’s a little bit about what we do:
We are an afterschool program that is open Mon-Thursday 3-8:30 and Saturday 10-5p.m.
Each student gets a 45 minute one on one lesson with an instructor for their instrument of choice. The student also gets a 3 hour rehearsal each week for a show that they are picked to be on.
Currently we are running 4 shows:
Aerosmith
Hair Metal
Van Halen
Old School Punk

At the end of 4 months of rehearsals the kids will play these shows at a real rock venue in front of hundreds of people.

Teachers and subs get paid between $12 and $20 an hour depending on experience. There are no room rental fees. We find the students for you and you never have to worry about billing. If your student doesn’t show up, you still will get paid for your time. We offer a 2 hour minimum of hours. Meaning, if we only book you one student for 45 minutes, you will get paid for 2 hours.

We have food available for the teachers here also.

This is a very fun environment to work in. You get a big pay off at the end of the 4 months by seeing the kids play.
You can see some videos of past shows at:
www.youtube.com/schoolofrockshane

What we are looking for:
Rock musicians!
We are seeking out currently gigging musicians who are familiar with rock. Prior teaching and schooling is helpful.
We would like you to send a rock resume; you don’t have to put your job at Pizza Hut on the resume. We would also like a bio, photo and a link to some music you have done.
You can send this to:
Shane
sbaskerville@schoolofrock.com
I will get back to you in 10 business days.

No phone calls please!
