We are currently interviewing for Guitar instructors. Here’s a little bit about what we do: We are an afterschool program that is open Mon-Thursday 3-8:30 and Saturday 10-5p.m. Each student gets a 45 minute one on one lesson with an instructor for their instrument of choice. The student also gets a 3 hour rehearsal each week for a show that they are picked to be on. Currently we are running 4 shows: Aerosmith Hair Metal Van Halen Old School Punk At the end of 4 months of rehearsals the kids will play these shows at a real rock venue in front of hundreds of people. Teachers and subs get paid between $12 and $20 an hour depending on experience. There are no room rental fees. We find the students for you and you never have to worry about billing. If your student doesn’t show up, you still will get paid for your time. We offer a 2 hour minimum of hours. Meaning, if we only book you one student for 45 minutes, you will get paid for 2 hours. We have food available for the teachers here also. This is a very fun environment to work in. You get a big pay off at the end of the 4 months by seeing the kids play.
