Premier Scholarship (Music Performance)

This scholarship is a half-tuition scholarship presented to an incoming or current McNally Smith College of Music Bachelor of Music Performance student each academic year. This scholarship automatically renews every semester as long as the student achieves a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 for each semester’s work and enrolls full-time for up to eight semesters. Room and board, books, and course materials are not included.

All scholarship recipients will be notified by mail and posted on the McNally Smith College of Music Scholarship web page by April 9, 2012.

Additional Submission Guidelines

In addition to completing the online application, applicants must also include two video demo excerpts, the combined length of which is not to exceed four minutes. The two selections must be in contrasting styles that demonstrate musical strengths and versatility. Accompaniment is suggested. Please submit your video file via postal mail. All demos must be clearly labeled with your name and major. All video files must be formatted as .mp4, .m4v, .wmv, .mov, or .avi. DVDs and CDs will not be returned.
