Welcome to summer at McNally Smith College of Music! This is your stop to find opportunities we are offering for summer fun. Our goal to provide opportunities in music for students, educators, and the community as a whole, means our page will be growing throughout the year. For the summer of 2012 we’re rolling out 5 summer workshops for students ages 13-19. Our first Vocal Workshop rolls out this year to the other great workshops occurring June 30 – July 3. For a truly unique experience in the Music Industry have a look at MIX camp, happening August 21- 26. Check out all of our camps and find the one that’s right for you.
As an academic institution, it makes sense that we care about continuing education. We’re offering unique professional development workshops for public AND private educators. We believe our 2012 Continuing Education Workshops will help educators develop tools to make their jobs a little easier while providing new opportunities that could foster interest and excitement in their students.
Community is important to us. From the Twin Cities Jazz Festival and Concrete and Grass at Mears Park to master classes of professional artists taking place in our college auditorium McNally Smith, we’re creating fun and exciting ways to further enrich our community during summers in the Twin Cities.
