ADMISSION REPRESENTATIVE

McNally Smith College of Music is looking for a full-time Admissions Representative.  This position will:
Participate in all activities and functions of admissions, including marketing and recruitment activities on and off campus, counsel prospective students and families, including traditional and non-traditional students, about the admission process in person, via telephone inquiries, through group presentations, visits to schools and community agencies, attending college fairs, and at other special locations throughout the year. This position matriculates leads to students.  It will guide candidates and families through the application process.  It will generate new non-web leads through high schools, events, etc.  It is involved in the planning and implementation of new recruiting programs; gives campus tours; and coordinates testing and auditions. 
Extensive local travel and some regional and national travel are required. 
Evening, and occasional weekend work is required. 

Qualifications:  2 year college degree; prefer 4 year or advanced degree. Experience needed in Admissions, recruitment, or sales; knowledge of music industry and education.
